Gordon: "Jello to the wall." Heh!! I received the VLNC press release. It has some additional LD commentary which, if VLNC had done this PRIOR to the c.c. may have mitigated some of the negative impact we all went thru. Specifically, paragraph 3, "Valence's primary focus in developing its batteries is for the computer battery market. Dawson said SEVERAL POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS HAVE ALREADY BEEN IDENTIFIED(my cap's for emphasis). He also said the RECHARGEABILITY ISSUES THAT HAD BEEN A FACTOR BEFORE FOR VALENCE WERE NO LONGER MAJOR PROBLEMS. "We are achieving the rechargeability that potential customers are seeking," he said.

Now, this is P.R. like it should be, albeit a tad late.....but better late than never, eh? Still, I tend to agree with your trading range, but it may be a little low(ie. I see an upper bound of $7/8 as a guess), particularly if they stay with the full court press as it relates to P.R.. And remember one thing, LD, via the P.R. mechanism, took VLNC in past days into the now stratospheric $20's. He should be able to easily do that again, longer term, IF those batteries are really that close to mass-manufacture......Oh, yeah, one other thing about that P.R.. I think we'll see a fair amount of it in the immediate future. Why? Well, consider that they're gonna have to go hat in hand for additional financing(if they're not already doing so). Having as much positive press as possible out there that your potential lenders can see can only make your loan request easier to fulfill, me thinks.
