I sided with the Democrats because I support socialized medicine and free public school college tuition for all families earning under 125K a year ( the NYS plan that was passed in 2017) and felt that the easiest way to get these initiatives passed was by voting Democrat. And yes, of course, I received a wake up call when part of the Democrat party turned against my heritage and homeland. Socially speaking, I have always supported individual liberty and was one of the early outspoken critics of the vaccine.

I did accurately forecast that Trump would beat Hillary in 2016, though I did not vote for him. I got caught up in Trump's insults, anger and hostility during his first term. I am not a fan of tariffs as an end of economic policy.

As for gay marriage, conservative and reform rabbis have been performing this rite since I have been alive. I possess Israeli and Jewish values, along with some American values.

So yes, it is in my self-interest to promote Trump over Biden/Harris. I do not like what has become of the DNC.

Even when I was a Democrat or Libtard as you call it, I always read the conservative threads on SI. Ultimately, I am an eclectic individual, who tries to incorporate the best from many different viewpoints.

I am glad you got this off your chest. But I am not the prime cause of how the DNC has evolved.
