I keep seeing this theme pop up more and more, that Mrs. Brandon, a.k.a. dOcToR Jill, is in control of things. Personally, I don't believe this is the case, because it implies that Brandon is unwilling to continue fulfilling the duties of the presidency. Everything I've seen suggests that Brandon still wants to be president. dOcToR Jill is just supporting his wishes. She doesn't have the heart to tell him, "That's enough, honey. You've done enough for your country. Time to retire now." Tenchusatsu
