Hmm, in general I don't think it means much, but just today: Apple Stock First To Close Above $3.5 Trillion Market Cap Consumer electronics giant Apple ( AAPL) on Tuesday became the first company to close regular-session trading with a market capitalization greater than $3.5 trillion. Apple stock ended the day at $3.507 trillion. More at link: investors.com
