Excellent analysis both of you.

We all like to root for the underdog, but in this case,
it is all but over.

AMD had one, just one chance to implant itself as a smaller
niche rival to INTC.

But execution had to be PERFECT, no deviation allowed on manufacturing
and so forth.

The marketing seem to work, the partnering with vendors, but they
blew the manufacturing execution.

INTC is NOT a spectacular technology leader, BUT, and it's a big BUT
they are UNEQUALLED in Manufacturing and raising cookie
cutter fabs with MINIMAL disruption and down time.

That's the secret of INTC, and the downfall of AMD.

Let me know guys
Just my 0.02c
