How did Boeing fuck-up?

They went from the most reliable plane in the world to something almost second class.

Too bad they can't just reverse to the time they were the most reliable passenger airliner on earth.

I've seen it in smaller companies when you don't have continuity and a group of guys moves on and they are not properly replaced, the company usually spins out of control.
