Here's what I think.

Something crazy will happen (likely staged) and the Dems will switch candidates. Harris will "voluntarily" step aside or remain in a VP role so the dems don't look bad.

I don't think they'll risk the political future of people like Newsome or Whitmer on a 2 month race. Instead they'll switch to someone who has no political future but has name recognition. That person....possibly.......

BILLARY CLINTON

People hate her (at least I do) but she could possibly beat Trump and the Dems wouldn't be risking the future of a potential rising star
