Forget the global warming issue because I don't want that battle. Lets just talk pollution. It would be better to use an EV IF we can solve the battery issue (meaning toxicity) and charging, When we can actually charge from a renewable source (meaning roof solar) it's going to be practical and less pollution. Less pollution is something we can all agree on. As it stands now, if everyone had an EV we wouldn't be able to meet the power needs because our grid needs so much work. That said - we need to be moving in that direction
