Yrs ago I was an avid lap swimmer...3 miles a session…but I'm honestly afraid I'd do more harm than good if I took up swimming again. Besides, I live too far away from a pool to find out, but I sure do miss swimming.

As for walking, for me, it is a lifesaver. I try to avoid pain medication OTC and/or prescription drugs like the plague, as they're not good for the old gut buddies. Sometimes I overdo it though, so I take an 8 hr Tylenol

I looked up some videos on exercises you can do in a small pool. There are a lot of options...maybe I should get one?
