I guess you didn't know about what they found in Bldg 7.

Structural steel beams from one of the twin towers impacted the building causing massive structural damage.

When each piece of steel for the Twin Towers arrived on site during original construction they were painted with identification numbers at both ends. All recorded as they were erected, piece by piece.

A great way to identify virtually every piece of steel after their collapse.
