Well the fact, like it or not, is that he is a convicted felon. There was not a double standard. The governor of NYS, himself, said as much? The governor isn't a "himself" as far as I know. I believe she is Kathy Hochul. If it was just hush money payments like Clinton, he would not have put on trial. It was about skewing the election by hiding the info right after the grab women by the p777y fiasco.

His other pending charges are much worse than the one he was found guilty of. He'd have a hard time defending that he mounted an insurrection.

He would have an even harder time defending stealing USA secret documents that belonged to the US. He willingly defied repeated attempts to retrieve the documents.

He is charged with 90+ felonies. The more serious ones would have been very difficult to defend. Even his former buddy Barr said the Mar-A-Lago case was a slam dunk for the prosecution.

He may get your sympathy vote, but I do not believe convicted felon deserves one. He won't get mine
