There is a limit to how much money you need to spend to live.in a nice house and enjoy good food. I am assuming here that one need not live in a mansion or buy a super expensive car or boat. The rich keep the economy afloat during recessionary times. They have no need to spend a huge part of their income on basic necessities. The best things in life are free, such as hiking in the mountains and making love to someone you cherish. Close family moments are also priceless. But I get your point. My point is that most rich people live under the radar and live in middle to upper middle income areas without flaunting their wealth.
