Sure, in an environment like that, they would look to spin off some of their holdings into separate independent companies.Depending on the market environment, that would most likely help shareholders short term. Longer term, I am not so sure. Plus, the effect of the Federal Gov't not being friendly to big tech in terms of limiting their growth, would cause shareholder selling.
