Today I sold REXR a Socal industrial REIT based on the likely impact Trump on China trade. It's been posited that Trump would be the most likely to hammer out a constructive trade deal with China but even if that occurs there will be substantial buying opportunities generated ..I hate owning shares when that occurs. That said, I generally expect that since Trump's wealth is focused on real estate and he acts in his own interest, well selected REIT holdings should generally benefit.
