It is legal to cross the border and ask for asylum.
No offense, but that's a real chickenshit answer.

Brandon* allows a ton of refugees into our country who come in and "ask for asylum."

Brandon allows them to stay while their requests go through the court system, which is extremely backed up and will be for years.

Brandon lets them stick around on our soil in legal limbo.

Some of them commit violent crimes. Probably not at the same rate as citizens or legal residents, but enough to make headlines.

People got upset over that, which led Brandon to reverse course earlier this year.

Only by then, it's too late, and MAGA obstructs Brandon's course reversal knowing that this is his weakest issue.

Let's face it, people simply don't trust Brandon to control the border. If he wins re-election, he'll reopen the border knowing that he won't suffer any further political repercussions.
