This year’s theme is “The Future Isn’t What It Used to Be,” and he is here to talk about computers to an audience of several hundred designers and design-lovers. The night before, Steve gave a demonstration of the Lisa computer, one of the first commercially available machines with a mouse and a graphical user interface. These innovations meant that people would no longer need to type commands or punch arrow keys to use a computer.
