I think we'll have to start paying up for quality supplements. I was going to recommend Solgar to you, but found out Nestlé now owns them. Nestlé also owns Pure Encapsulations, Nature's Bounty, Pilgrim's Pride, and more. Nestlé has a bad rep around here (Columbia River Gorge, Skamania County) for its attempts to buy up local water rights. It's also under fire for numerous controversial business practices. I'd shy away from patronizing them. I've only just started looking into this supply & quality problem, having recently had many ridiculously bad experiences with the American health care system -- but that's a subject for another post, or maybe a different SI group.
