<<Sometime next year, Crane said you can expect to see a laptop computer that will be lighter and more powerful than the ones currently on the market.">>

Fine and dandy. Sometime THIS YEAR, I expect major laptop manufacturers to come out with something better than what's currently available. I guess the time frame difference has something to do with Silicon Valley engineers employing simply solution whereas PNDA likes to employ complex solutions.

I work for a mid sized chemical manufacturer, and out MIS/IT dept. has mandated that we can only buy Laptops authorized by them, and there is just one. This is so that repairs and support and everthing else is standardized. For laptops, we have been with Toshiba for years. For desktops, we are slowly migrating from Mac's to Gateway PCs.

MIS/IT has evaluated Dell, Compaq, and a few smaller box makers, before deciding on their selection. I'm positive Panda's machines have Zero chance of getting any business at my company. Since the company I work for is fairly typical of corporate America, I will make a generalization that PNDA has little chance of getting corporate sales. I'd like to hear any comments if anybody know's differently.
