Apple's $2.5 billion investment in affordable housing breaks ground Is this a 'skunkworks' experiment that Apple thinks will generate another revenue stream, or merely a philanthropic exercise, or both? If it's strictly philanthropic, I personally would rather have that money go to R&D, to come up with something better than just more emoji's or returned back to the share holders.
