To all: Probably everyone has found this news item on Cannavino's keynote address at the 1998 Internet/Intranet Application Development Conference and Expo, but here is the link anyway. biz.yahoo.com Worth noting is, "The address will focus on the need for innovation in software development projects and in the software industry. Cannavino will also take a look at trends in the computer industry by examining the companies he expects will thrive, which companies will suffer, and what technologies can be expected to succeed over the next five years or so." Five years is a long time. Could make for an interesting speech, especially if there is anything to this latest clandestine Recon. My opinion: Wild exaggeration of rampant speculation over meaningless conversation. Good hunting, HerbVic
