I took a Lyft back from the auto mechanic this morning (vacuum leak someplace).

My driver was from Ukraine, here less than a year with his GPS set to Russian and he had to frequently look up words in English.

His business in Ukraine was bombed, so now he drives for Lyft and Uber 14 hours a day. We talked about Odessa and Moldova where my great-grandmother was from.

I told him we work very hard in America, which is true for me at least.

I got a huge laugh when he asked if I spoke Russian and I answered Ne pa Ruski, which means Not in Russian.

I've very proud of America, the things our country has accomplished and the incredible opportunities my family has found here.

Russian TV is now talking about how Kamala Harris with her ready laugh is distilled evil. Like me, Kamala has white teeth and speaks of living one day at a time.

Russian propaganda TV sounds just like their Republican allies here in America.

I hope for everyone's sake that the Republican Party is quickly replaced with something more American.
