Trump has been fairly restrained so far from his typical emotional outbursts that were the Hallmark of his previous administration.
He only restrains himself when he's comfortable.

During the debate, for instance, he showed a sense of restraint as Brandon stumbled badly on live TV. Trump knew from the very beginning that he already won the debate.

In the weeks that followed, Trump was unstoppable. Brandon continued to stumble. Trump felt no need to unleash too much rage. The election was his to lose. (The attempt on his life, along with his fist-pumping moment, also seemed to cement the inevitable.)

Now that Brandon stepped down and Brenda is enjoying a honeymoon of sorts, Trump may feel tempted to lash out, as Dj55 pointed out already.

If Brenda's momentum continues, watch as Trump gets unhinged ... again.
