MMM - Big move this AM on the back of earnings. Just another case of when there is a major rotation out of some of the blue chip names that don't have purely systemic issues, they usually make for an intriguing and compelling purchase for the patient investor. So many examples of this over the years and MMM is looking like the next iteration. In the past, I always found names like this to be compelling/intriguing but rarely had the patience to see the trade/investment play out. There are cases of course when the bounce-back never occurs (WAG as a recent example) but that is where the "systemic" measuring stick comes into play. The issue, of course, is determining what concerns represent a change in the story or what is "systemic." In any event, great move today with a good narrative.
