Opinions?

I think its pretty much in agreement that Cirrus has a number of good products. (I haven't seen any posts yet saying this chip sucks or this one is better than Cirrus' etc) Now, what I am thinking is if a compnay does emerge that is going maybe buy out Cirrus, what would be a reasonable price? $15, 20, 25? I mean based on the current price I would think that alot of people who bought in at higher levels might "get screwed". The reason I say this is that there were alot of people who bought Chips and Technologies way above the $17.50 price Intel paid to buy them out and they were all upset (such are the spoils I guess) I am long at $10.875 a share and you would have to figure that if Mr. TEO paid about a little more than over $15 a share the ocmapny wont be sold below there....but is it possible to have a suitor pay 100 or even 200% current market value for a company? Does anyone know if Cirrus is currently retaining any investment banks to either explore any mergers or acquisitions? Does anyone think that Cirrus could grow by spending some of their almost $300 million in cash and short terms securities on some companies or technologies that would give them stome strength and stability?

I don't know if anyone really follows short interest here but that number has been falling for the past few months now...I would have thought the stock would have gone up. Does anyone see any "red flags" on Cirrus' balance statemnts? I have gone through them briefly but I do not see any "alamrning" or bad numbers. Everything really looks good and I don't know if its a post I read here or somewhere else but the best time to buy a stock is when absolutely NO ONE is talking about it....let's be thankful that Cirrus does have good products and are good for a press release about once a week or so...there are lots of companies whose boards I look at complaining how word about the products never seem to really even get out...

I don't know too much about the board situation that there has bee ntalk about. Overthrowing it etc... What do others think that a new board will accomplish besides this one? Wouldnt it be cheaper and more efficient to keep these people as long as they can keep executing their initiatives? What things SHOULD they be doing that another board would be better at?
