I've been taking 5000 iu of D3 daily for years. A couple years ago that alarmed my doctor but I argued in favor of it, agreeing to cut down.... which I never did. I do NOT deliberately supplement calcium but now my lipid panel, for a couple of years now, shows my calcium level just outside the higher safe level (10.4 or .5). Less than a year ago, after reading about it here, I began taking Life Extension Super K along with the 5000 iu of D3. In that time, the calcium levels in the blood continues to worry my doctor.

I'm not interested in giving up the vitamin D3, at all! But I thought the addition of the Super K would take care of the calcium higher readings, but that isn't happening. I should add that I drink NO milk or knowingly take in anything that is high in calcium.

Ideas and comments very much appreciated.
