BUT .... "perplexity.ai" SPECIFICALLY referred to its equation of :-

RONTA = Net Income / Net Tangible Assets.

And an outlet such as INVESTOPEDIA clearly Defines "Net Tangible Assets" as being equivalent to BOOK VALUE, which INVESTOPEDIA also states as being equal to TOTAL ASSETS - TOTAL LIABILITIES which, in turn, can be found in TOTAL SHAREHOLDERS EQUITY as a line item in the Balance Sheet.

Seems to me that if "perpexity.ai" wants to exclude "Goodwill" and "Intellectual Property" in the Denominator of its "RONTA" equation then it needs to come up with a term other than "Net Tangible Assets" .....
