ABC spent little time on Trump's comment because a deeper analysis would reveal it was harmless. They want to leave it unexamined so they can put their toxic left-wing spin on it.

Trump said he's not a Christian. He said he's thankful Christians voted for him. He understands that many Christians would prefer to vote for a Christian, so he's saying this is the last time they'll have to hold their nose and vote for him (because of term limits).
