Pocotrader, I was there at Whistler during the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. It was a TON of fun hanging out in the Olympic village and meeting random athletes from random countries. My wife and I even ran into the Korean ski jump team, and we took photos together as if we were long lost relatives (we probably were).

Plus we got to see Yuna Kim win the gold medal in figure skating.

All of Vancouver and all of Whistler was ablaze in energy. It was a blast.

Fortunately we left before the hockey finals between Canada and the U.S. I can't imagine surviving the craziness on the streets of Vancouver after Canada won.
