Well the athletes popularity and endorsements ($) etc are affected by viewership. Having said that I refuse to watch The way I figure it, the athletes bear some culpability as well. I pretty much quit watching sports circa 20178. I used to have season football and baseball tickets. The biggest benefactors of viewersghip are by far the corporate interests. I thought the Olympics were better when it was amateur and then I'd kind of agree with the logic of watching. The woke interests are laughing all the way to the bank
