Your quote marks are correct. Your sentence is deceptive. She did NOT say "for defunding the police." Those are YOUR WORDS. You wrote that outside the quote because its a viral non-factual out-of-context meme.

BTW, I could show you where Republican extremists attacked Capital police defending the Congress resulting in officer deaths on January 6, 2021.

I can also find plenty of REAL "jack booted thug" quotes if you like.

Just listen to what she was saying - in context.
