Ben,

You wrote: "For the absolute best point and figure charting software for the price ..."

You're probably well aware that any of the programs which are REQUIRED with your P&F software must be purchased for your program to operate (typically pretty pricey). After one purchases one of these charting software programs, one must DOWNLOAD price updates for all of the stocks one's interested in (these downloads of price data cost money every time one downloads them - which would be everyday for daily price updates). If you decide there's a company not in your LOCAL computer data base which you'd like to track, you must DOWNLOAD all of the price history from the charting software's site for that stock - - what a PAIN (and cost)!!
No Thank You !

For P&F charting I feel that the most flexible, comprehensive, convenient, and accurate system available is the Dorsey site

There's always an advantage to being able to collect information directly from a centrally located database which is updated automatically everyday. I don't need to download data myself, pay for those downloads, and store them on my local hard drive (which is always susceptible to crashing).

It's important that everyone is aware of the HIDDEN fees and extra work required to use your "shareware" especially versus a web based accessible database.

Cheers.
