That is not an opinion, that is history dude!
Science says: "For a couple of hundred thousand years we humans were nomads and lived in caves."
Then about 15,000 years ago, we learned how to farm, settled down and built cities and invented all the knowledge needed to run those cities e.g. written languages and math.
And slowly as we learned more we became more civilized, less cruel, and less like animals.
And then about 100 years go most western countries started mandating public schooling. 13 years of schooling, K thru 12, in this country.
And as more people got educated, and society got more complex, people learned to think abstractly, and out of that came civil rights.
That was huge!
For the first time in the history of human's it was recognized all people are created equally--and I might add genders!
And that brings us to today.
Public schools should be cherished and defended, and Democrats know that!
Republicans keep trying to end public schools!
