That guy is an outlier in the academic community, that only the right wing quotes all the time to back up there nonsense.

A way to confirm that, is that only 6% of scientists are Republicans, and the majority are liberals (PEW poll).

How can a scientist be a Republican when Republicans don't believe in settle science like the 2020 election was not stolen and global warming and evolution are real?

So do we believe one guy, or a statistical average of a group of our smartest people, scientists.

We on the left post facts and reason. And we check each other.

I have never seen liberals run away from facts. I don't.

On the right they post dogmatic nonsense and then back it up by tribal agreement e.g. the MAGA say the 2020 election was stolen, global warming and evolution is not real.

As mentioned, all three things are settled science.

Right here MAGA folks tell me I lie about stuff, but never say what that stuff is, and refuse to.

Because the can't, because I don't lie!
When one posts facts and the truth, they are easy to back up.
