Does anyone know what is the policy for initial trading in out months of "semi-illiquid" options.

I'm curioous about SIMO. Eventually SIMO trades options in every month, but currently there are Aug '24, Sep '24 and then it skips Oct and Nov, and then has Dec 2024, Jan 2025, skips Feb '25, and then has Mar 2025 already trading.

At some point in the near future Oct 2024 will begin trading. Does anyone know the policy of when that will begin? What is the policy for beginning trading in the "less active" months?
