Hello Stuart, The broker told me that the rumour of Oracle eyeing NOVL was "floating" in the air among his peers and recently gained attention with the takeover of Cheyenne Software by CA. The talk is that if NOVL stock continues to languish at current levels as did Cheyenne Software stock once did, that a takeover is just around the corner (6 to 12 months). The two assets that make NOVL appealing: 1) its large installed base and 2) the $1 billion cash on hand. The broker also believes it will most likly be a stock swap of some sort. Call it a rumour or whatever but it seems like analysts are telling us that NOVL at $10 - $11 is undervalued. V.K
