Thank you for all the detail you provide in your periodic strategic updates like this. I don't know anyone else on SI who goes into that kind of depth with commentary about the stock market and the economy. That goes for other sites as well. It is rare.

I'm curious about this one. Do you recall how you felt during the Dotcom bubble, especially near the end? I ask because it became clear to myself and many others it was a very speculative bubble given the massive investment in companies that had no hope of ever turning a profit. They're stock prices were bid up to ridiculous levels as VC's kept pouring in good money after bad to support them, caught up in the euphoria like everyone else.

I was a consultant for one of those thousands of companies, and it crashed and burned, eventually being bought by Intel *cough* for an even $1 million long after I left.

While I feel AI is a genuine paradigm shift in technology, I know it is also another speculative bubble where only a chosen few of the best companies will survive to drive it forward.
