In a story published Friday, Angela Carini told Italian sports daily La Gazzetta dello Sport that she regrets not shaking Khelif’s hand Thursday before leaving the ring. "It wasn't something I intended to do," Carini told the Italian publication, per the AP. "Actually, I want to apologize to her and everyone else. I was angry because my Olympics had gone up in smoke." Carini added that if she and Khelif met again, she would “embrace her.”(HIM, you stupid, stupid lady)
