RE: "Up, down, up, downd
Oil ends unchanged..."

Those guys at Amaco, Exxon, Mobil and the likes must really be tired today. Think about it:

They had to watch oil prices all day and everytime it went down $0.10 they had to rip up all those 3 and five year contracts for rigs, them call the guys on the rigs and tell them to stop drilling and get the rig off out of the lease area. Then if oil moved back up $0.10 they had to write new contracts and tell them to start drilling again...

Well, like you said, at the end of the day there were the same number of rigs working as there was this morning.

It must be making Big Dog's job too...
I can just imagine him taking a prospective rig buyer around to several yards looking a rigs... finally, after they have haggled about the price and the guy is reaching for his check book, he notices that April crude is down $.12 and calls the whole deal off. Then buy the time he gets back too his office, crude is up and he has to call Big Dog again. Hope he isn't working on commision.
