Peter, I too know the feeling: "Ungratefull sods after all the work we've done...". But I've noticed that the ire seems proportional to the feeling that Datek doesn't care.

Listen carefully. There is a quiet desperation in some of these messages. On days when the Web is near stall, every non-essential kb can add many seconds to trade execution/confirmation times. What may appear to you as surley ingratitude is, just perhaps, a little fear.
