Experience with donor-advised funds? Looking ahead to our 2024 taxes, it's looking like it might be a good time for us to set up a donor-advised fund for our charitable giving. I've read up on "bunching", tax strategy, fees, putting assets in, using the fund to make donations, etc., but I'm interested to hear from anyone who has one, how has it gone for you? Is it as straightforward as it sounds? Are there any downsides I should be aware of?
