We set up a Donor Advised fund a few years ago. We took a chunk of Veev stock and put it in the fund and they liquidated it for the Funds. My wife loves it. She makes regular donations to 4h, to schools, and other 5013c's. I believe we took the tax write-off in the year we funded the Donor fund. We made ours thru our financial advisor at UBS.
