Tim Walz has deep ties with China. He’s been to China over 30 times and doesn’t think they’re our biggest rival.

He even set up a program to take high school students to China every summer for nearly a decade. The Chinese government paid for some of them. Walz told students to downplay their “American-ness” when in China.
