For the copy/paste issue, do you use the keyboard shortcuts for that? The Chromebook is designed to work from Google's Cloud services and they are inexpensive compared to Mac or PC laptops because they're cheaply made. That is why they're popular in cash-strapped public schools. It's not because they're better made or provide more functionality than traditional PCs or Macs. The Chromebook and ChromeOS market share is still minuscule compared to competing hardware and operating systems from competitors.
