Skeptic your basing your arguments around your false assumption that Y2K is hype. I work in the computer business and I can tell you that Y2K is draining resources all over the place. If you don't believe that I am sorry for your ignorance in these matters. If I am mis-understanding your posts, I am sorry. You have a lot of good words and interesting arguments, but a little DD shows they have no substance and smack in the face of the information.

Let me ask you something, how much money did TAVA make on Y2K services in their 2nd quarter and how much in tools? When did they roll out their Y2K product and actually start shipping? Considering their 2nd quarter, was their core revenue flat compared to the same time last year? Why has their gross margin increased? Should we consider their R&D expenses in the mix? What about their current debt situation as compared to last year?
