I been lurking on this thread ever since Riley G. mentioned it on the RMIL thread, wondering whether I should buy in or not.
FWIW, as an attorney I review a lot of documents which are drafted to give the impression of saying something without actually saying it. IMO, that's what this press release does. It suggests that the acquisition of Next Level will likely occur, rather cleverly in my opinion, by hurriedly giving the details of the acquisition (preliminary negotiations) then going into a great level of detail about the operations of Next Level, which leaves the reader with the impression that the deal is likely to occur, without actually saying so.
IMO, if I bought this stock tomorrow thinking that the Next Level acquisition is sure to occur, then I would be a fool. That said, I may still buy the stock on the chance that the Next Level deal MAY occur, and that IF it does the stock will likely go up in value. It's a gamble, but risk is part of the game. The only thing that bothers me is how this company is going to be paying for these acquisitions. If they have to issue large amounts of stock as part of the deal, then the value of my investment could quickly drop. Does anyone have any idea how the company intends to pay for the companies that it seeks to acquire? |
