These two parts don't add up.

Lawyers for Zhang, .... say it is about privacy. The materials reflect “deeply personal” affairs, including “intimate correspondence”, her lawyers argue. The “ongoing violations” of her privacy have caused “severe emotional distress”.

If the documents are scanned and available as copies, the privacy is alraedy lost.
