Dear Stan, There are many reasons copying and pasting html that includes an image might fail. For the specific case you have provided, looking at the source code of one of the messages you referenced: Message 34726174 The graphic in this post appears to have been pasted from an Outlook Live email message. 1) The Image URL is likely private to the posting user's inbox, so only the person who posted the image actually has permissions to view it from the source URL. 2) The URL appears to include a thumbnail and other information encoded into the query string. None of this is recommended or supported. Either of these faults would likely prevent the image from displaying on SI. Also: a security warning. The pasted HTML included private information encoded into the URL - the e-mail address of the person who posted the image. Not good. One might use the "Raw Text" button to toggle to raw format, in order to ensure a simple image URL is all that was pasted when creating a post from data on one's clipboard. The short answer is don't post html copied from an Outlook Live e-mail inbox accessed through one's browser.
