Hmmm...what a thread. I get dissed for suggesting GTIS is going to take afall, well in advance of the price fall. I got out with my profits, and played the MPRS run for another profitable run.

Now Scott Miller gets dissed for suggesting GTIs will come back. It seems this thread doesn't like industry folks saying their mind...

Scott Miller: if you would address my thought, I'm interested in a general level of the thought that Duke Nukem will translate to the film world with profits. I only know of Mario Bros. and Mortal Kombat having not made money, I may be wrong, and now with Chris Roberts doing Wing Commander on a budget of 21 million, I question what the thinking may be to do this. And, with Jean-Martial LeFranc (of Cyro) as an Exec Producer-yikes!!! If you have a formula that seems to work, there may be a huge oportunity in moving many game properties to film. "Mavis Beacon Does Dallas"?

As EA moved over 4 points today on Tiger Woods license news, (oh yea...ca-ching) it appears that big licenses on major platforms still impress the street the most.
FWIW.

Anyway, welcome to the public forum of major-league dissing, worse than beta testing.
