In my opinion, Putin and Russian money tried very successfully to elect Trump. It worked. End of story
It's more than just "elect Trump." Instead, their goal is to undermine trust in our system of democracy.

And at the very foundation of it is postmodernism, or the belief that there is no such thing as objective truth.

Ironically, this belief leads to comical ideas like the name of Trump's social media company, Tr00th Social, where "tr00th" represents s--t you can make up and have it go viral.
