The other factor in the price drop that I had not been aware of yesterday is that Alex To has left DLJ, going to DeutscheMorgan. He has been the most active analyst in terms of his buy recommendation for IPIC. The rumor is that he will re-recommend IPIC at his new position, but until he does, it leaves a vacuum in terms of analyst support. DLJ brokers reportedly were selling off IPIC today (I believe at least partly in reaction to speculation spurred by Dow Corning offer) because there was no one home to provide them with counterbalancing information. It is herd psychology, but it has taken a toll over the past two days. The anecdotal report that you posted is very similar to the others I have encountered. NeuroInvestment (www.neuroinv.com)
